Today’s Ding How’s final day

After some 50 years in Davis, today is Ding How’s last day. As I wrote in December, it’s the oldest Chinese food restaurant in town.

It’s at 640 W. Covell Blvd., in Anderson Plaza, and is typically open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.

It’s open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays until the UC Davis students return in mid-September. Sam’s is at 301 B St. in downtown Davis. Regular hours are typically till 7:30, including on Saturdays.
