The owners of Super Owl Brewing announced an hour ago that it’s winding down. It will close sometime after Thanksgiving. On Saturday, Oct. 24, they will host a ninth anniversary party.
The brewery, at 1260 Lake Blvd., Suite 121 in West Davis, opened on Sept. 22, 2017. In 2016, when I first interviewed home brewer Joey Vida and his wife Rachel, they had much to look forward to.
“This has been a dream of ours for a long time,” he said at the time. “We are excited about pursing it, and can’t imagine a better place to do it than in this community that we love.”
