→ Lines out the door: As promised, Frenzy Coffee Co. opened Wednesday at 305 First St. That’s a space last occupied by La Piñata Mexican Grill, which closed early in the pandemic.
The soft opening continues through Wednesday, March 26. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit its website to watch for updates.
On its first day, lines snaked out onto the patio. One patron said she waited more than 45 minutes for her drink but she didn’t know of any special promos or discounts to draw such a crowd.
