After more than 14 years, the Davis Leslie’s Pool Supplies store has closed.
In an email Monday to customers, the company announced the closure. It referred clients to its website or the Leslie’s app.
The store opened in March 2012 at 1321 W. Covell Blvd., Suite 119A in The Marketplace. It offered pool and spa care products, equipment repair and water testing.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Phoenix-based company is preparing to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy – as early as next week. It is expected to close about 10 percent of its 943 stores. It saw a boom during the pandemic but could not maintain the momentum.

As I reported on Sept. 22, the bistro quietly opened earlier this month. But once the news hit this column, they got a little overwhelmed.
