Calicraft Brewing debuts just before Davis Collection grand opening

The anchor restaurant of The Davis Collection opened on Tuesday, a day before the center hosted its grand opening.
Calicraft Brewing Company’s site includes 4,000 square feet of indoor space and another 4,000 for patio dining. It has its own small distillery. Beer will be delivered fresh multiple times a week from its Fairfield brewery, which Calicraft recently purchased from Heretic Brewing and Distillery.
The menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, fried chicken, fries, salads and appetizers. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays. It stays open an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays.
The center at 835-885 Russell Blvd. in Davis replaced the University Mall.
Several current and future tenants had product samples, giveaways, coupons, drawings and other promotions at its grand opening today.
