The food-court-turned restaurant Local Kitchens has closed its Davis location. It has a sign in the window announcing the change.
The Davis restaurant opened in July 2022 in the former Pluto’s space in Davis Commons, 500 First St.
It touted itself as a “micro food hall” with lots of restaurant brands under one roof. The company gave a boost to food-truck style businesses by providing them with a brick-and-mortar location – alongside other eateries – all in one space.
